If you frequently drop your belt or hit the metal lever, it could potentially get damaged or even break. We recommend handling the belt with care and avoiding any unnecessary impact to ensure the longevity of the product.

Our products carry a 30-day warranty on defective materials or faulty workmanship, from the date of purchase. Our powerlifting belts are backed by a warranty that covers only the functional aspects of the product. Normal wear and tear, as well as damage caused by dropping, is not covered under the warranty. Please be aware that our warranty does not cover cosmetic imperfections such as blemishes, scratches, or color wear and seepage of the inner lining nor damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect. There's a 6 month warranty on the metal lever. If for some reason it breaks within this period, we will send you a replacement.

To claim warranty service, please return the product to the Hack Athletics Service Center in its original packaging. You are responsible for pre-paying any applicable shipping charges to and from the service center. Hack Athletics is not liable for any damage that occurs during transit, so ensure the product is properly packed.

The 13mm lever belt is designed for intermediate to advanced powerlifters performing near-maximal or competition-level squats and deadlifts. Its extra thickness provides maximum rigidity for intra-abdominal pressure support. If you are still developing your lifting technique or training at moderate weights, the 10mm or 7mm options are more appropriate starting points.

The 13mm lever belt carries a 30-day warranty against defective materials or faulty workmanship from the date of purchase. The metal lever mechanism carries a separate 6-month warranty. Yes. The Hack Athletics 13mm lever belt is manufactured to IPF specification — 10cm (4 inches) wide, 13mm thick, with a rigid lever buckle. It is competition-ready for most powerlifting federations. We recommend confirming the specific rules of your federation (IPF, CPU, SPF, etc.) before competing.

The Carbon Fiber variant features a premium carbon fiber texture finish on the outer leather — a visual and tactile upgrade. Both versions use identical 13mm leather construction, lever mechanism, and 4-inch width. The functional performance is the same; the carbon fiber is a premium cosmetic choice.

Yes. Lever belts are fully adjustable using an Allen key to reposition the lever on the belt holes. This allows you to set the tightness precisely and change it as your body composition changes over time. Unlike prong belts, lever belts cannot be adjusted mid-set — they are set to a fixed tightness before each training session.

Wipe the inner surface with a slightly damp cloth after sessions to remove sweat. Allow the belt to dry naturally — never store it damp or near heat. Occasionally apply a small amount of leather conditioner to the outer surface to prevent cracking. Avoid dropping the lever buckle on hard surfaces as this can bend or damage the mechanism.

When fastened, you should be able to slide two fingers between the belt and your abdomen at rest — but when you take a deep breath and brace, the belt should feel snug and the lever should be fully closed. If the lever will not fully close, size up. If the belt slides during lifts, size down.
